Immaculate 2 Bed Flat in West Kensington - The Flex London

Todella Mukava Oleskelu Positive: Tämä paikka yllätti minut parhaalla tavalla. Se on mukava, siisti ja helppo omaksua kuin omaksi kodiksi. Oli ihanaa aloittaa ja lopettaa päivä täällä; paikan rauhallinen tunnelma teki koko matkasta vieläkin miellyttävämmän. Alueella tapahtui paljon, mutta ilman kiireistä fiilistä, ja kokonaisuutena oleskelu oli todella mieluisa ja onnistunut.

The stay was great and we were very happy. Positive: The location was central to all the shops, restaurants and station. Negative: We tried to operate the water temperature in the bathroom (shower) but it was warm to cold and not hot. When we use the sink and kitchen taps, they dispensed hot water.

Great flat in West Kensington Positive: Great location and comfortable space. Well equipped with main appliances. The beds were comfortable. Our unit was on the first floor so we had to carry our bags up. Instructions were very clear so it helped to get settled in. 5 min walk to nearest tube station and plenty of little shops nearby. Negative: Heating kept fluctuating during our stay - couldn't get it to come on when needed or stop when too hot. Would also appreciate if we were given some toiletries like soap and shampoo, and tea towels for the kitchen.

Ant infestation and poor service Negative: There was an ant infestation and no baby crib (which we had paid for in advance). That put our baby in danger (had to sleep in between us) and because of the ant infestation we couldn't put him on the ground. We asked to deliver the crib, which they did, but didn't do anything for the ants. Overall the place was dirty and not service was very hard to get a hold of.

Overall I’d rate this unit at 2.5 stars. Here’s a breakdown of the pros and cons of the stay: The positives:- Excellent location as it’s very close to two tube stations (District Line and Piccadilly) so access to the rest of London is very easy. Also very close to good grocery stores. - The management company is very responsive and helpful. Questions were answered in a matter of minutes. We were very impressed. Checkin was also very easy. - Wifi is good and plenty of fans in the unit if it’s hot. Items to Improve- The unit wasn’t as clean as advertised. The washroom needs a deep clean, the carpets should be steam cleaned, and plenty of ants were present even with keeping food contained. - There were only three shower towels available even though the unit is listed for 6. We had 4 people so we managed. - The unit is cheaply furnished (beds, couch, stools). Spending a little money can make a big difference for the unit. - The location is great, but it’s by a busy road. If it’s hot out and you want to open the windows, expect to hear bikes, cars, and sirens throughout the night.Overall our trip was great and with a few small adjustments, the unit could be great as well.
