Lovely 2 Bed Apartment in Peckham - The Flex London

Negative: We recently stayed at this accommodation in London, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what the listing photos suggested. Upon arrival, we found dirty dishes and used, wet kitchen sponges. We also requested an extra duvet several times, but despite repeated follow-ups, it was never provided, supposedly because “the keys did not work.” Apart from this sounding like an excuse, we also found it unacceptable, as it would imply that someone would have entered the apartment without our consent. The apartment itself is quite run down. The couch and the bed’s headboard had stains, the flooring was damaged, and there was mold in the bathroom. Many furnishings were worn and did not match the photos, and one of the heaters was broken. Overall, the accommodation felt clearly below average compared to its online presentation. After our stay, I was unexpectedly charged £100 for a discolored towel. While it was indeed stained, a £100 fee is extremely excessive. I was not informed that the amount would be deducted immediately; I only received photos and the charge. I also asked whether the towel had even been washed before applying such a high fee, but received no answer. After several messages to both the host and Booking.com, we eventually received a refund — but only after multiple follow-ups. Overall, the way this situation was handled felt inappropriate and lacking transparency. Combined with the poor condition of the apartment, I cannot recommend this accommodation.

Acogedor y Vale la Pena Positive: Realmente disfruté mi estadía aquí. El lugar tiene un ambiente tranquilo y todo estaba muy bien organizado. Se nota que el anfitrión se esfuerza por mantenerlo en excelentes condiciones. Aprecié que todo funcionara perfectamente y que el espacio se sintiera tan acogedor. ¡Muy buena relación calidad-precio! ¡Súper recomendado!

Estancia amplia y relajada Positive: Me encantó este apartamento: espacioso, limpio y con todo lo necesario para sentirme como en casa. La cocina fue muy práctica y la zona tenía un ambiente local agradable. Fácil de llegar al centro de Londres, pero lo bastante tranquilo como para descansar después de un día ajetreado.

Excelente ubicación y super limpio! Positive: La unidad tenía un encanto acogedor y era perfecto para una escapada de fin de semana. ¡Nos encantaría volver!

This flat was in a perfect location for us. While the kitchen was tiny, the rest of the flat was spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were big and fluffy. We didn't need them, but if you are there when it is hot, there are lots of fans. Wifi was slow at times but that is in the process of being uograded.
